Eye on The Journey är namnet på Catrin Schmeers konstprojekt, en resa att återskapa naturens magi. Här kan drömska scener av skogen få en känsla av en katedral och en känsla av en historia gömmer sig bland snåren. Resan börjar i djupa värmländska skogar bland mörka skogstjärn och skogiga öar. Den doppar sig i folksagor & sägner och hämtar inspiration bland kurbits, Art noveau, John Bauer och Art&craft-rörelsen där ideén att konst, hantverk och design kan flätas samman.
Alla verk är digitala fotokollage, framkallde på finaste syrafria pappret.

Eye on The Journey is the name of Catrin Schmeers art project, a journey to create the magic of nature and dreamy scenes where a forest can feel like a majestic cathedral and a tale is hidden behind the trees. The journey in the deep forest in Värmland among dark forest lakes and islands. It takes a dip in old tales and myths and finds inspirationin kurbits, Art noveau, John Bauer and Art & Crafts movement.
