A leaf on planet Earth

"In 2025, I will work on my own project at Konstfack – the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.

The project is called "A Leaf That Grows on Planet Earth." It's a journey to explore how different cultures use nature-inspired ornaments, especially the shape of a leaf.

The leaf is a form found in patterns and decorations from many cultures and time periods. I will start in the Nordic forest and see what I discover... "

From Tree to Thread - Från Träd till Tråd

This amazing exhibition will take place at Borgviks Gård in Värmland summer 2025.

Art, design, and craft with depth and a focus on the future.
This exhibition shows how traditional knowledge can be combined with new ideas and creative thinking. Natural materials like wood and textiles are used to create works that connect the old with the new.

You will meet Hanna Hellquist, Elin Guldåker, Elin Ruist, Circlab, Motorsågsmadonnan, and Catrin Schmeer — all exploring different ways of working with materials, stories, and forms.

Ransbysätern - A forest meadow

Ransbysätern has been a summer camp for goats and cows for more than 1000 years. It´sa truly beautiful and magical place. Once I had a one-day exhibition during the music festivval "Utmarksmusiken . A wall on a small shed became an outdoor gallery and the pictures got to hang put with hills and the forest. Visit this place if you want to take a deep breath of Värmland!
